We decided to cook instead of eating out. super good slow-cooked Mongolian beef that he made. And I made stuffed bitter melon soup.

And for dessert....

We went to eat at an Afghan restaurant called Fenêtre sur Kaboul on this freezing day.

We had the Vday table d'hôte

Mantoo: afghani dumplings and afghan bread as appetizers

And for dessert we had the cream rolls and firnee: afghan rose water flavored custard
